Mold of Model Car


In our quotation of custom diecast model, we always list the general mold arrangement for customers to see .Because for most of us, without relative knowledge, we have no idea about it and think it's easy to combine components into one set of mold to save money.So today, I will share something about it with you.

Let's take this list as reference (high simulation 1/45 scale model car), usually car body and chassis are divided into two sets of mold. But if the car model is in small size like toy, they can be combined. As for the Tyre, if it's made of rubber (PVC), should make a separate mold to make it,but it can be reduced by changing it into plastic material if you want to save cost. As we can see, to custom models without existing mold, it needs at least two sets of mold to make.

Why usually doors of 1/43 scale model are closed?

In die casting of model car, the matched degree is limit, about 1 mm, that is, the width of gap of door is about 1 mm. For 1/18 scale model (about 20 cm long), this isn't important to affect the beauty and line of model car; But for 1/43 scale model (about 8 cm long), the gap seems a bit large that would affect its curve and appearance, which is to lost the soul of the car . To narrow the gap, it would cost more for production. Therefore, considering the appearance and cost, most model car in 1/43 scale are made without opened doors. The New Member,1/24 Scale Truck Model ,of Tongtongrenhe

As the New Year is around the corner, finally this truck model of SANY is finished. Let's have a look together: sany truck model It's in 1/24 scale, size is 29.6*10.6*16.5cm. The color of red and black shows its charm and power. The headstock is similar with car model, mainly made of zinc alloy with some plastic components, detail driver cab with transparent windows, though it's larger. But as we can see, it has a "tail", so the chassis is made respectively. And usually, there's a container that can be buttoned behind.
